Pilates aims to strengthen the body, with particular emphasis on core strength to improve general fitness and wellbeing. Pilates is a gentle but highly effective class for improving posture and flexibility, and preventing injury.  Pilates exercises are done on a mat. Take a mat or towel with you to lay on.
