Parkrun is a great way to get active in any way you want. Parkrun is a 5k that takes place every Saturday morning, and even Christmas and New Years! Run, jog, walk or even volunteer at your local parkrun; it is a great way to get moving on the weekend!
In Hertsmere, parkrun takes place at Aldenham country park, with the race starting at 9am. It is a completely free event; come along and get involved!
Junior Parkrun is also available for 4-14 year olds. It is a fun 2k race with two locations in Hertsmere; King George Recreation Ground and Furzefield Leisure Centre. Bring your kids down any Sunday morning for a 9am start to get them moving and having fun!
